Rent out your wall, fence or window for advertising
Got a wall, fence, shop window or vehicle that people walk or drive past every day? Local businesses will pay to put their ad on it. List it on Frontage for free and deal directly with advertisers.
What kind of space can earn money?
- Side walls facing a road, a set of traffic lights or a busy corner.
- Front fences on busy streets, corner blocks, or near schools and shops.
- Shop and café windows on high streets with plenty of foot traffic.
- Rural fences beside highways and the roads into town.
- Screens in cafés, gyms, waiting rooms and shopfronts.
- Vehicles — vans, utes, trucks and food trucks that are out on the road every day.
How much can you charge?
You set the price. What a space is worth comes down to how many people see it, how long they see it for, its size, and where it is. As a rough guide in Australia, a front fence on a quiet suburban street might go for $40–$120 a month, while a large, clear wall on a main road can earn $300–$1,200 a month. These are examples, not promises — see the pricing guide for more.
How it works
- List your space for free. Add photos, your price and a short description. People only see the suburb unless you choose to show the exact address.
- Answer messages from advertisers. We email you when someone gets in touch.
- Agree the deal directly. Use our free agreement template to put the price, dates, inspections and who installs the ad in writing. Payment goes straight to you — Frontage takes no commission.
Before you list
- Check whether your council, landlord or strata scheme has rules about signage.
- You decide who you deal with and which ads you're happy to show.
- Read our safety tips — never accept payment by gift card or crypto.
